Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Pet Specialist to join our team at Cherished Pets Funeral Home and Crematory
- a first-of-a-kind dedicated funeral home in SW MO for pet family members. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping families when a pet family member passes away, bring the deceased pet into our care at Cherished Pets Funeral Home and Crematory. Duties
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with family members
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Handle deceased pets with care and respect
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Follow established procedures
- Coordinate burial and/or cremation arrangements for pets
- Other duties as assigned. Experience
- Experience in handling the deceased in a funeral service environment is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for operating industrial equipment is beneficial
- Familiarity with funeral directing practices is a plus
Pay:
$16.00- $50.
