Your expertise will ensure that every funeral service is conducted with dignity, professionalism, and heartfelt care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing support, organization, and respectful service during challenging times. As a licensed professional, you will coordinate all aspects of funeral arrangements, oversee logistical operations, and deliver exceptional customer service to grieving families and communities. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage funeral services from initial consultation to final disposition, ensuring all arrangements meet family wishes and legal requirements Provide bereavement support and compassionate guidance to families navigating grief and loss Oversee the preparation of the deceased, including cosmetology, sanitation, and dissection procedures when necessary Handle heavy lifting involved in transporting and positioning caskets or remains with proper manual handling techniques Maintain detailed records of all arrangements, legal documentation, and logistical activities with organizational precision Plan and execute memorial events or services, including logistics, floral arrangements, and coordination with vendors Ensure compliance with health and safety standards related to sanitation, anatomy knowledge, and dissection procedures Assist families with sales of funeral merchandise and pre-arranged services while maintaining excellent customer service standards Requirements Valid licensure as a Funeral Director in accordance with state or national regulations Demonstrated experience in funeral directing, event planning, and customer service roles Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and dissection techniques relevant to mortuary practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during transportation or setup activities Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple arrangements simultaneously under pressure Compassionate communication skills for providing bereavement support and handling sensitive conversations Familiarity with sanitation protocols, cosmetology procedur for dressing the deceased, and legal documentation processes Basic sales skills to assist families in selecting appropriate funeral products or pre-arranged plans Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication provides comfort and closure to families during their most difficult moments. Pay:
