Full-Time Affordable Funeral Home is seeking a licensed Funeral Director to join our staff. This position requires a compassionate leadership of funeral directing. The right candidate will be committed to professionalism, regulatory compliance, and providing comfort and care to families during their time of need. Responsibilities Arrange, direct, and oversee funeral and memorial services. Meet with families to provide support and guidance in service planning. Prepare and file required legal documentation (death certificates, burial permits, etc.) Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and OSHA standards. Oversee body/area preparation, equipment, and facilities with professionalism and care. Collaborate with clergy, cemeteries, and service providers to ensure seamless services. Qualifications Must hold a Funeral Director license in Louisiana. Strong organizational abilities with a high attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, professional demeanor with the ability to support grieving families. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and be on call as required. What We Offer Full-time, stable position.
