Based primarily in Natick , with flexibility to assist at two additional locations as needed. The ideal candidate will independently meet with families and manage services from the initial arrangement through the conclusion of the funeral.
Responsibilities :
Meet with families and make arrangements; coordinate and direct wakes, funerals, church and cemetery services; prepare obituaries and required paperwork; communicate with clergy, cemeteries, crematories and other providers; oversee service details; drive funeral vehicles and assist with caskets, flowers and set up as needed.
Qualifications :
MA Funeral Director License; experience conducting arrangements and directing funerals; compassionate with excellent customer-service and communication skills; organized, dependable, and efficient; strong problem-solving skills; comfortable with computers; able to work independently and as part of a team; physically capable of the hands-on responsibilities of funeral service.
Compensation:
$120,000-$140,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Health Insurance provided. Additional compensation may be available based on performance and level of responsibility. All inquiries will be held in strict confidence .
