DIRECTOR or Intern Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory, Hollidaysburg, PA We are a growing family owned funeral home & crematory that is seeking a PA Licensed Funeral Director or Intern to serve families of all faiths. Our FD is detail oriented, professional, and capable of performing or learning all aspects of funeral directing.

Primary duties include:

executive-level customer care, at-need and pre-need arrangement conferences, conducting funerals, dressing, cosmetic work, tending visitations, assisting with removals, and completing all necessary paperwork. Complete customer satisfaction is paramount.

Job prerequisites:

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and periodic testing
• PA Funeral Director's license or for Intern, having

COMPLETED

National Board exams.

• A professional appearance based on traditional expectations of the families we serve
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Valid PA driver's license with a safe and responsible driving record
• Thorough understanding of PA Funeral Law
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and familiar with E-Vitals and database software
• Ability to do heavy lifting In the case of Intern applicant, having completed the National Board exam is a prerequisite.

This is a full-time, long term position with above-average wages, excellent perks, a monthly rotating on-call schedule which offers many weekends and weekdays off, paid con-ed fees, and tuition reimbursement.
