Job Description

```Duties```
  • Conduct consultations with grieving families to discuss funeral arrangements and provide guidance and support
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral services, including visitations, ceremonies, and burials
  • Prepare the deceased for viewing and burial, including embalming, dressing, and cosmetology
  • Arrange transportation of the deceased to the funeral home and final resting place
  • Assist families in selecting caskets, urns, flowers, and other funeral-related merchandise
  • Handle necessary paperwork, such as death certificates, permits, and insurance claims
  • Coordinate with clergy members, cemetery staff, and other service providers to ensure a smooth funeral process
  • Provide bereavement support to grieving families before, during, and after the funeral ```Experience```
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Funeral Director or related field
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to properly handle and prepare the deceased
  • Proficiency in embalming techniques and cosmetology to present the deceased in a dignified manner
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide compassionate support to grieving families
  • Ability to plan and organize funeral services with attention to detail
  • Sales experience to assist families in selecting appropriate funeral merchandise
  • Knowledge of event planning to coordinate visitations, ceremonies, and receptions
