This is a fulltime leadership role with a well-liked and reputable Funeral Home in the area.
Key Responsibilities Daily Operations:
Manage the facility, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and ensure compliance with state and federal health and safety regulations.
Staff Leadership:
Hire, train, supervise, and mentor funeral directors, administrative staff, and support personnel.
Financial Management:
Monitor the location budget, handle accounts payable and receivable, and achieve revenue and sales goals.
Family Care:
Meet with families during difficult times, guide them through funeral or cremation arrangements, and ensure flawless execution of services.
Community Outreach:
Build and maintain strong relationships within the local community through networking and public relations events.
Required Qualifications Licensing:
A valid Funeral Director License in VA.
Experience:
3 to 7 years of experience in the funeral service industry, with at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Skills:
Excellent communication, strong empathy, organizational skills, and proficiency in business management software.
Education:
