Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care. Sort, fold, and package clean textiles efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Handle laundry materials carefully using proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage or injury. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads safely across the facility. Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a clean working environment and prevent contamination. Adhere to safety standards in production, including proper use of laundry detergents and chemicals. Assist with basic inventory management of laundry supplies and materials. Support customer service efforts by ensuring timely processing of laundry requests for clients in hospitality or healthcare settings. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, laundry services, or textile cleaning environments is preferred. Knowledge of garment care machine operation, including industrial dryers and washing machines. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials with manual handling techniques. Familiarity with sanitation procedures, safety standards in production, and use of laundry detergents. Basic math skills for measuring chemicals or calculating loads accurately. Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure work environment. Excellent customer service skills to support client needs professionally and courteously. Experience in hotel or hospitality laundry operations is a plus but not required.
