A Laundry Worker washes, dries, and folds clothes for customers at a laundromat. Works in a commercial laundry or for a company that provides laundry services for businesses, including hospitals, hotels and other businesses that use large quantities of linens.

You will be responsible for performing a variety of laundry cleaning tasks, maintaining an organized workflow, and collaborating with team members to provide a better user experience. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and sanitation policies, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a variety of laundry cleaning tasks, including washing, drying, and folding linens to ensure they meet quality standards. Routinely process laundry items, including sorting, loading, and unloading machines, and maintaining an organized workflow. Assist in performing housekeeping duties, such as cleaning laundry areas and maintaining equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of laundry tasks. Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace
REQUIREMENTS
Must pass a pre-employment background check. Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

Ability to prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. You must also have the ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, and supervise and manage staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals. Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards. Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
