Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry to ensure timely availability for guest rooms and public areas Perform routine cleaning of laundry areas and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety standards Handle special cleaning requests including dry cleaning or stain removal with attention to detail Follow established procedures for laundry safety, chemical handling, and infection control protocols Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies of detergents, cleaning agents, and linens Support overall hotel cleanliness by participating in general cleaning duties as needed Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred; training will be provided Knowledge of laundry operations including use of commercial washing machines and dryers Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures related to chemical use and equipment operation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly enhance guest satisfaction!
