Laundry Attendant 2212 Danville Road SW, Decatur, AL 35601 From $10 an hour - Part-time From $10 an hour - Part-time Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Laundry Attendant, where your attention to detail and enthusiasm will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, maintaining pristine linens and uniforms, and supporting the overall cleanliness of our facility. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment that delights every guest and supports our commitment to excellence. Duties Saturday and Sunday 8 AM Till finished Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or special items using appropriate solvents and techniques Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sorting stations and storage rooms, adhering to safety and hygiene standards Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and linen stock; notify management when supplies need replenishing Assist with delivering clean linens to designated areas promptly while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or contamination Follow established procedures for stain removal and fabric care to uphold quality standards Requirements Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred Knowledge of laundry equipment operation, including washing machines, dryers, and dry cleaning machines Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and fabric care best practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service in a team-oriented setting
