The hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Hotel Management Group. The franchise controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices. Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Laundry Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and maintaining linens and uniforms. Your dedication will directly contribute to creating a welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations and upholds our hotel's reputation for excellence. This position offers a fast-paced, rewarding environment where your skills in laundry and cleaning will shine. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment with precision and care. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to hotel standards. Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or special items requiring specific treatment. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and organized for optimal efficiency. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures to prevent accidents or damage to linens or equipment. Assist with other cleaning duties around the hotel as needed to support overall cleanliness standards. Experience Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with laundry equipment such as commercial washers and dryers is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including stain removal and fabric care enhances performance in this role. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
