Laundromat Attendant DashWash Glendale, AZ Job Details Part-time $16 - $18 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Machine operation Sanitation Packaging Delicates ironing Load & unload Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Laundromat Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our business, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your primary duties will include assisting self-service customers, processing drop-off laundry orders (Wash & Fold), and maintaining the absolute cleanliness of the facility. Key Responsibilities Customer Service:
Welcomely greet customers, answer questions about machine operations, assist with card systems, and help clients load or unload their laundry when needed.
Wash & Fold Services:
Receive, sort, weigh, wash, dry, fold, and neatly package drop-off laundry orders according to customer preferences and company quality standards.
Store Cleanliness:
Perform continuous cleaning duties throughout the shift, including wiping down machines, cleaning lint filters, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing folding tables, and emptying trash bins.
Basic Troubleshooting:
Monitor washers and dryers for proper operation, clear simple, and promptly report mechanical issues or errors to the Store Manager.
Retail Sales & Cash Handling:
Process payments for wash-and-fold services and retail products (detergents, snacks, bags) using our Point of Sale (POS) system; ensure accurate cash drawer management.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Previous experience in customer service, retail, cleaning services, or hospitality is preferred but not required. We will train the right person!
Language Proficiency:
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is highly preferred, but not required to effectively assist our local community.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of your shift, bend, reach, and safely lift and carry laundry bags or bundles weighing up to 40-50 lbs.
Personal Traits:
Strong work ethic, punctuality, attention to detail, and a polite, helpful attitude toward customers and teammates.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
