Marana Detention Center | Marana, AZ $26.47 per hour | Full-time Responsible for proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment, maintaining records of laundry operations in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives Why join the MTC team? Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment. Perform tests on wash formulas. Provide the receipt, storage, repair and issue of detainee necessities, and implement inventory control procedures. Maintain related records and prepare reports. Requires long periods of walking and standing. Requires the pushing and pulling of laundry carts and lifting of laundry bags full of laundry which could weigh up to 30 lbs. Required to load and unload washers and dryers. Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required. The incumbent is required to work overtime when directed to do so. Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed What you will need High school diploma or GED required US Citizenship or Lawful US Permanent Resident required. One (1) year of experience in institutional laundry operations is highly desired. Must successfully complete required preservice training.
