Location:

Diablo Valley Post Acute Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, towels, and other facility laundry Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and properly Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or missing items Properly label and organize resident clothing and personal items Deliver clean laundry to the appropriate residents and departments Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitary laundry area Follow proper infection-control and laundry-handling procedures Use cleaning supplies and laundry chemicals according to facility guidelines Report damaged equipment, supply shortages, or other concerns to management Maintain accurate laundry records as required Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards Assist with other housekeeping or environmental services duties as assigned Qualifications Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, or healthcare experience preferred but not required Ability to operate laundry equipment or learn to operate equipment safely Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable, punctual, and responsible Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Ability to handle resident clothing and personal belongings with care and respect Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment Why Join Diablo Valley Post Acute?
