Job Description

Position Summary:
Performs activities and duties related to the cleaning, ironing, folding and distribution of laundry items throughout the Inn. Operates industrial washers, dryers, and mangles. May operate vehicle and laundry cart. Maintains equipment and work area.
Principle Job Duties:
1. Receives/collects soiled laundry items and sorts them for cleaning. 2. Cleans laundry utilizing industrial washers and dryers 3. Inspects laundry for damage and sorts accordingly 4. Mends items when necessary 5. Irons items as required. 6. Folds and stacks cleaned items. 7. Distributes cleaned items as necessary.
Qualification and Skill Requirements:
1. Basic understanding of cleaning of Laundry items. 2. Ability to follow cleaning instructions and safely operate Laundry equipment. 3. Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality. 4. Hard working and dependable. 5. Friendly and possess good customer relation skills 6. Ability to get along well with others. 7. Flexible with respect to shift and work assignments 8. Good safety record. 9. May require valid California Drivers License.
