$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Job Summary Vasona Creek Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and efficient Laundry Aide to join our environmental services team. In this role, you will ensure that all linens, garments, and bedding are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and distributed to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for our residents and patients. Schedule Full-time Weekdays and weekend rotation required Key Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, blankets, towels, and personal clothing of residents. Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and folding equipment safely. Use appropriate chemical formulas and washing cycles for different fabric types. Inspect linens for stains or damage, and treat or discard items as necessary. Deliver clean linens to nursing units and resident rooms efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry room area. Adhere to strict infection control policies and healthcare safety guidelines. Qualifications Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare or hospitality setting. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions for equipment and chemicals. Strong physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 35-50 pounds. Reliability, teamwork, and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
