Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment including industrial washers, dryers, garment care machines, and dry cleaning units to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments. Handle all laundry materials with proper procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained. Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry efficiently using push carts and other materials handling tools. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries. Maintain sanitation by following established cleaning procedures for all laundry areas and equipment. Assist with inventory management of laundry detergents, cleaning supplies, and textiles to ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to guest requests related to laundry services and garment care. Requirements Prior experience in hotel laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating loads. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Familiarity with laundry detergents, sanitation practices, and garment care machines such as industrial dryers. Strong attention to detail in sorting, folding, and maintaining quality standards.
