Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facility, ensuring that all laundry items are handled efficiently and effectively. This position is essential for providing high-quality service to our guests, particularly in a hotel environment. Duties Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Inspect items for damage or stains and report any issues to management. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and uniforms. Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low. Qualifications Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment used in laundry operations. Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
