Our Laundry team plays an essential role in delivering a clean, comfortable experience for every guest. As a Hotel Laundry Attendant , you'll help ensure our Housekeeping team has a constant supply of clean, fresh linens throughout the property. You'll be responsible for the complete linen process—from sorting and loading soiled linens to operating commercial washers and dryers, folding, organizing, and preparing clean linens for use. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, enjoys staying active, and works well as part of a team.

What You'll Do:

Sort and weigh soiled and clean linens Load and unload commercial washers and dryers Fold, organize, and properly store clean linens Maintain an organized supply of hotel linens Clean and maintain laundry equipment and work areas Assist with laundry inventory Fold and organize valet and laundry bags Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, and safety hazards Respond professionally to guest requests when needed Work closely with Housekeeping and other hotel departments Internal Relationships Reports to Director of Housekeeping, Assistant Director of Housekeeping, Housekeeping Manager, Laundry Manager & Laundry Supervisor. External Relationships Has regular contact with Housekeeping & Hotel Associates. Qualifications Ability arrive to work on time and when scheduled. Ability to stand on feet up to 7 hours a day and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate washer and dryer equipment. Physically able to move/lift, large, heavy objects such as: linen, linen carts and/or bags of linen. Physically able to operate cleaning equipment such as: brooms, spray bottles. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form, over the phone or in person. Ability to learn, follow and enforce standards for cleanliness as they apply to the laundry area. Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards and able to recognize and act in emergency situations. Education/Experience Requirements High School graduate or equivalent preferred 6 months laundry experience/housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred. Physical Requirements Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
