Position Summary Coconut Cay Resort & Marina Laundry Attendant is responsible for processing linens, towels, and other washable items efficiently and safely. This role helps maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality, and service by ensuring laundry is properly sorted, washed, dried, folded, stored, and distributed. Key Responsibilities

• Sort laundry by fabric type, color, soil level, and washing requirements.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, irons, folders, and related equipment.
• Measure and use detergents, stain removers, and other cleaning products according to instructions.
• Inspect items for stains, damage, and quality; rewash or report issues when necessary.
• Fold, hang, package, label, store, and distribute clean items accurately.
• Maintain established par levels and promptly report shortages or unusual loss.
• Keep the laundry area, equipment, carts, shelves, and work surfaces clean and organized.
• Follow infection-control, workplace safety, chemical-handling, and equipment procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions, supply needs, hazards, and incidents to a supervisor.
• Work cooperatively with team members and respond to internal service requests promptly.
• Inventory and Record Keeping. Monitor stock levels for detergents, bags, and linen supplies, assist with periodic inventories, and track damaged or discarded items Qualifications
• Previous commercial laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or custodial experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and product labels.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, reliability, and time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and stain-removal practices is an asset. Physical and Scheduling Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to bend, reach, push laundry carts, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where required.
• Comfort working in a warm, humid environment around cleaning products and machinery.
• Availability for assigned shifts, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
