Duties Operate industrial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, and uniforms efficiently. Sort laundry items by type and color to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper cleaning procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing equipment and workspaces. Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage; report any issues for repair or replacement. Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low. Requirements Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens meet cleanliness standards before distribution. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy laundry loads as needed. Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting hotel operations.
