Duties Operate laundry machines efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest uniforms according to established standards. Sort laundry items by fabric type, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage and ensure quality results. Handle special cleaning requests such as stain removal with care and precision. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by organizing supplies, sanitizing equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and linen stock; notify management when supplies need replenishing. Assist with delivering clean linens and supplies to various departments within the hotel promptly. Follow all health and safety regulations related to laundry operations to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques. Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting colleagues and guests.
