LAUNDRY ATTENDENT/CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION
Customer Service:
Greeting customers, answering questions about machine use, and providing change for quarters.
Wash, Dry, Fold Service:
Weighing incoming laundry, sorting by color/fabric, following specific customer instructions (like detergent preferences or hanging items), and professionally folding clean laundry.
Ironing Services:
Barbs specifically advertise ironing as an add-on service that counter staff may be expected to perform.
Facility Maintenance:
Keeping the laundromat "immaculate" by wiping down folding tables and machines, cleaning lint traps, and ensuring bathrooms are stocked.
Transactions:
Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system for drop-off services and selling retail items like detergent, fabric softener, or dryer sheets. Performing General Physical Activities

Skills & Qualifications Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift laundry bags (often 20-50 lbs.) and remain active on your feet for an entire shift.

Keeping multiple drop-off orders separated and properly tagged for pickup.
Integrity:
Responsibility for handling cash and managing the facility independently. Must be Authorized to work in the UNITED STATES
