Handle textiles and linens carefully, ensuring proper sorting, washing, drying, and folding according to established procedures. Manage materials handling tasks including loading push carts, transporting laundry items safely across the facility, and organizing supplies efficiently. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning work areas regularly and using appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents. Follow safety protocols during manual handling of heavy items and operate machinery safely to prevent accidents or injuries. Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to requests for laundry services or assistance with garment care. Requirements Prior experience in cleaning, laundry services, or materials handling is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with attention to safety standards in production environments. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating loads, or managing inventory. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards related to textile cleaning and laundry operations. Familiarity with garment care machines such as industrial dryers or dry cleaning equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail to ensure garments are cleaned properly without damage.
