Duties Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to clean textiles efficiently. Handle materials carefully using proper manual handling techniques and push carts to transport linens and garments safely around the facility. Follow strict safety protocols during all laundry processes to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Apply laundry detergents and cleaning agents correctly, adhering to sanitation standards to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination. Sort, fold, and organize linens or garments according to size, type, or client specifications for timely distribution. Conduct routine inspections of laundry equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces regularly. Experience Previous experience in laundry services or textile cleaning is not required . Familiarity with garment care machines and laundry service a plus. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper handling of laundry chemicals and textiles. Ability to perform basic math for measuring detergents and managing inventory levels effectively. Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and customer service principles related to linen or garment delivery.
