Department Central Sterilizing/UIHC Jobcode Helper - Manual Working Title Central Service Aide Details Under direct supervision assists Central Service Technicians in the performance of duties related to the assembly and distribution of sterile products and instrumentation to the Operating Rooms and clinics. Prepare carts and surgical containers for decontamination. Inspect, fold and package reusable linen towels, pillowcases and sheets. Prepare reusable containers for assembly into instrument trays. Wrap surgical trays in disposable tray wrap. Transport items to sterilization area. Empty cart washer and transport cart to cart storage area. Inventory and fill supply modules in the sterile core area. Unpack and put away supplies as needed. Other tasks as assigned.

Hours limitation:

This position is limited to 1040 hours per fiscal year. Hours will reset on July 1st. Contact
