Now Hiring:
Full-Time Laundry Aide (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Northbrook Health and Rehab is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our Environmental Services team. We take pride in providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff—and our Laundry Aides play a vital role in that mission.
Schedule:
Full-Time | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts, includes rotating weekends)
Responsibilities:
Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently Monitor and maintain laundry supplies Label and track resident personal items as needed Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines Work collaboratively with the Housekeeping & Laundry team
Qualifications:
Prior laundry or environmental services experience preferred (but not required—we will train the right person!) Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and time management Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Compassion and respect for residents in a long-term care setting Why Join Us?
