The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our facility. This position is essential for ensuring that our guests receive high-quality service and a pleasant experience. The Laundry Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment, handling various laundry tasks efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers to clean linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items while ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, following specific guidelines for different materials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management. Assist with the transportation of laundry items to various departments within the facility as required. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Requirements Previous experience in laundry operations or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with cleaning techniques and products used in laundry services is advantageous. Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus, providing insight into guest expectations. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shifts.
