"Leading the World with Innovative Solutions that Enhance Lives" As a Laundry Technician you'll be responsible for the cleaning and decontamination of medical equipment, helping us to deliver essential services to hospitals and care homes in our local communities. What you'll be doing Clean and decontaminate returned medical equipment (including beds, mattresses and spare parts) in line with Infection Control procedures. Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, spill kits and PPE correctly, ensuring compliance with health & safety. Dispose of waste and clinical waste appropriately. Check equipment is clean, safe and operational before use, reporting faults promptly and completing required checks (e.g. washing machine temperature tests). Maintain clean, organised decontamination areas, ensuring clear separation of clean and dirty zones. Accurately record equipment movements and maintain all required documentation. Monitor and report stock levels for cleaning products and PPE. What we're looking for Ability to manage assigned workload and adaptable to sudden changes in service requirements. Compliance with departmental procedures. Full understanding of infection control and it's importance. Commitment to the highest standards of hygiene.
