Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant, where you are responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of clean linens, towels, and other hotel laundry items to support daily hotel operations. This position helps maintain the hotel's high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and brand quality by operating laundry equipment, organizing inventory, and following all safety and sanitation procedures. Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, and other laundry items. Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and remove items as needed. Maintain proper inventory levels of clean linens and notify management of shortages. Deliver clean laundry to designated storage areas and housekeeping departments. Follow hotel brand standards and laundry procedures. Keep laundry room clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines. Monitor laundry equipment and report maintenance needs promptly. Assist housekeeping staff with laundry-related needs as necessary. Comply with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Provide excellent service and maintain a positive attitude while working with team members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hotel experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to work in a warm environment and around laundry equipment. Schedule Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Full-time and part-time positions may be available. Morning, evening, and weekend shifts as needed.
