Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean hotel linens and textiles. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, ironing, and organizing items for timely delivery to various hotel departments. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads safely throughout the laundry area. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols during manual handling, heavy lifting, and operation of machinery to prevent accidents. Ensure all laundry services meet sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents and cleaning agents. Monitor and manage laundry inventory levels, including supplies of detergents, fabric softeners, and other cleaning materials. Assist with garment care processes such as dry cleaning or specialized textile cleaning when required, ensuring high-quality results. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or laundry services within a hospitality or industrial setting is preferred. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts. Basic math skills for managing inventory counts and processing laundry loads accurately. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to maintain a secure workspace. Familiarity with textile cleaning techniques, including laundry washing, dry cleaning, and garment care machine operation. Strong attention to sanitation practices to uphold hygiene standards across all linens and textiles.
