Full Job Description Things You'll Do Processing/Folding Laundry:

Washing, folding and packaging laundry, delivering fresh, neatly packed customer laundry inline with our standards and folding procedures. All training provided on site.

Assisting Customers:

You will greet customers, answer their questions, and provide assistance when needed. This includes helping them operate the washing and drying machines, understanding the different cycles, and providing guidance on how to use the equipment effectively.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

It is your duty to keep the laundromat clean and organized. This includes regularly tidying or cleaning the machines, folding tables, and floors. You will also be responsible for emptying trash bins and ensuring that the facility is free from any hazards.

Monitoring Equipment:

You will need to keep a close eye on the laundry equipment to ensure they are functioning properly. This involves reporting any malfunctions or issues to the management and assisting customers who may experience an issue with equipment to ensure an excellent experience.

Handling Payments:

You will be responsible for handling cash transactions and operating our laundry machines. This includes accurately calculating the cost of laundry services, providing change to customers, and ensuring that the payment process is smooth and efficient.

Providing Excellent Customer Service:

As a Laundromat Attendant, you are expected to provide exceptional customer service to all patrons. This includes being friendly, approachable, and responsive to customer needs and concerns. You should strive to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers during their visit.

Enforcing Rules and Policies:

You will need to enforce laundromat rules and policies to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all customers. This includes enforcing time limits, preventing unauthorized use of machines, and addressing any disruptive or inappropriate behavior. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness Basic math skills for handling cash transactions Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
