Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel environment, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens and guest clothing. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items according to established procedures. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care. Inspect items for stains or damages prior to laundering and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces. Adhere to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating equipment. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments. Experience Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus. Basic knowledge of laundering techniques including stain removal and fabric care. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
