Job Overview:

Quality Inn is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel's linens through proper sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storage procedures. This role plays a vital part in ensuring clean and fresh linens for our guests. We are looking to hire for Mondays and Tuesdays only.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry following hotel standards
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Inspect and treat stained or damaged items with care
• Ensure proper storage and organization of clean linens and towels
• Assist in inventory management and restocking of laundry supplies
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold a clean and hygienic work environment
• Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow and timely task completion

Skills:

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
• Knowledge of different fabrics and their care instructions
• Proficiency in operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Physical stamina for lifting heavy loads and prolonged standing
