Job Description
Variable Shift 40 hours per week Essential functions of the position include but are not limited to: Maintains assigned area of Health Center in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition including washing furnishings, floors and equipment, dusting, vacuuming and emptying garbage. Delivers personal laundry to residents' room Loads and unloads service cart with appropriate supplies at beginning and ending of shift. Replenishes supplies of soap, towels, and other dispensable items. Changes sharps containers in all areas when cleaning. High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Reading skills necessary. Must be willing to learn on-the-job training. KMHC is looking for a Laundry Attendant . The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and clothing items are properly laundered, folded, and distributed according to company standards. Reports to Supervisor of supply needs. Replenishes supplies of soap, towels, and other dispensable items. High school education or equivalent required.
