Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to clean textiles effectively. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, and organizing items for delivery or storage. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads safely within the facility. Follow safety protocols diligently during all manual handling and laundry processes to prevent injuries. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning work areas, equipment, and supplies regularly. Apply appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while adhering to safety standards in production. Assist with customer service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring timely delivery of cleaned items. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and textile care methods including laundry washing, dry cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Ability to operate garment care machines such as industrial dryers and garment care machines efficiently. Skilled in materials handling, manual handling, heavy lifting, and using push carts safely. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load sizes, and managing inventory. Understanding of safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe working space for all team members. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and colleagues alike. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence during all laundry processes to prevent accidents or contamination.
