In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, ensuring linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles are cleaned to the highest standards. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to a welcoming environment that emphasizes cleanliness, quality, and guest satisfaction. Duties Operate commercial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage and ensure optimal results Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces Inspect items for stains or damages; treat or report issues promptly to ensure quality standards are met Organize laundry supplies and inventory to support efficient workflow and minimize waste Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning processes Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and cleanliness Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures in a hospitality environment
