Environmental Services Launderer Full-Time Temporary Position - 80 hours/pay No Benefits Scheurer Health is seeking a self-motivated individual to work in a temporary full-time position in our hospital laundry. The temporary position will last approximately 6 months. Responsibilities Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines. Sort, pre-treat, and load hospital linens, uniforms, and other textiles for washing, ensuring proper handling of contaminated or biohazard materials. Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and damage, folding and organizing them for distribution to various hospital departments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including routine cleaning of machines and workspaces. Follow all health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols, to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
