Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Laundry Operator to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient cleaning, maintenance, and management of linens, uniforms, and other fabric items. Your expertise will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and specialized equipment for various fabric types. Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Perform cleaning tasks such as stain removal, fabric inspection, and folding to ensure items meet quality standards. Manage dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialized garments when required. Maintain accurate records of laundry cycles, loads processed, and inventory levels of linens and supplies. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Collaborate with housekeeping or hotel staff to fulfill laundry requests promptly and accurately. Requirements Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, stain removal, and dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary. Basic understanding of cleaning standards and hygiene regulations applicable in hospitality settings.
