About the Department Our Environmental Services Team is all about offering the best high-quality care in housekeeping to all of our customers. Our goal is to be warm, friendly, and helpful to all that are in need of our services. Mission for Position As a Laundry Aide, you'll fold, sort and deliver laundry across the system. Your contribution to maintaining high-quality laundering will directly impact the well-being of every patient and resident who uses our facilities. Duties & Responsibilities Folds, sorts and delivers all linens according to established procedures.
Records weights with 95% accuracy.
Operates controls for wash machines, dryers, stamp machine, sewing machine, and iron with 95% accuracy.
Transporting linens to various LHS locations.
Cleans all laundry equipment properly and thoroughly.
Interacts appropriately with coworkers, residents, patients, and visitors. Position Type This is a part-time position working 24-32 hours per pay period. Shift times are 3:00PM - 11:30PM. Some weekends and holidays are required. Qualifications Qualifications Valid Driver's License
Clean driving record Ideal Candidate Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Excellent customer service skills
Must be a team player
Reliable, detail-oriented, well organized
Good communicator
Must be able to work independently
