Executive Housekeeper / General Manager Job Summary The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, organizing, and distributing hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items to ensure clean, fresh, and sufficient inventory for guest rooms. The Laundry Attendant must maintain a clean and safe laundry area while following hotel standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sort dirty linens, towels, pillowcases, blankets, and other laundry items. Operate washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently. Wash, dry, fold, stack, and organize all hotel linens. Treat stained linens when necessary. Deliver clean linens and towels to housekeeping storage areas. Keep laundry room clean, organized, and free of hazards. Clean lint filters after every dryer cycle. Monitor laundry chemicals and notify management when supplies are low. Report damaged linens or equipment problems immediately. Assist housekeeping staff when needed. Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment. Perform other duties assigned by management. Qualifications No previous experience required; hotel laundry experience is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Good attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and hotel policies. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the workday. Work in a warm laundry room environment. Work Schedule Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required. Overtime may be required during busy seasons.
