Job Description
Baronwood is seeking a part-time worker to take care of dogs and cats. Duties include letting dogs outside, cleaning kennels, feeding, providing fresh water, giving medication, scooping poop, mopping floors, doing laundry, providing individual playtime, and performing other tasks as necessary to keep the pets and their environment in good shape. Short shifts can make the position a good fit for a student or someone looking for a second job. Because the kennel is busiest when kids are out of school, weekends and holidays are mandatory, but not every kennel attendant works every shift of every weekend or holiday. Workers are allowed to trade shifts. Baronwood is a small, family-run business, so we do not have a corporate culture. We treat our employees like people, not cogs in a machine. Formal experience working with animals is not required, but we do like to hire pet owners. Please include a cover letter detailing your experience as a pet owner.
