Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments in our facility. This position requires a commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines, to clean and finish linens and garments. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron various items according to established procedures. Ensure proper handling of all laundry items while following safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring high standards of quality are met. Collaborate with hotel staff to fulfill laundry requests promptly and efficiently. Skills Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality assurance. Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is required. Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and effectively. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
