Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Worker to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, garments, and textiles across various settings. Your energetic approach will help maintain high standards of sanitation, garment care, and customer service, contributing to a seamless laundry operation. This position offers an engaging environment where your manual handling skills and attention to safety standards will make a real difference every day. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to clean textiles efficiently and effectively Handle materials with care, including sorting, folding, and organizing linens and garments according to established procedures Use push carts and other tools for transporting loads safely within the facility Follow safety protocols during all laundry processes to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling laundry detergents, cleaning agents, and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines Assist with textile cleaning tasks such as dry cleaning or specialized treatments when required Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely processing of laundry requests and addressing any concerns professionally Experience Prior experience in laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred Familiarity with garment care machines, industrial dryers, and laundry washing equipment is highly desirable Knowledge of safety standards in production environments related to manual handling, sanitation, and chemical use is essential Experience with materials handling equipment like push carts or similar tools will be advantageous Previous exposure to safety protocol adherence in a production or industrial setting is beneficial Strong attention to detail in garment care and textile cleaning processes ensures quality results We are open to making this a full time position if it is a good fit!
