Job Description Overview Responsible for sorting and processing soiled or contaminated laundry and clean linen following Staff Safety and Infection Control. Responsibilities Position may be physically demanding, requiring regularly standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time on a repetitive basis and exposure to high heat, humidity and noise. Qualifications High School graduate/GED preferred Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping in a hospital environment preferred. Must have valid N.C. Driving License with a good driving record.
