Bermuda Village Retirement Community is seeking a dependable and organized Full-Time Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping & Laundry team!

Hourly / Non-Exempt Position Overview The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that linens, clothing, and other laundry items are cleaned, dried, folded, and distributed efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This position plays an important role in providing a comfortable and sanitary environment for our residents and staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Empty soiled linen barrels and sort and load laundry into machines. Fold and press linens. Assist with driving the laundry vehicle to and from the laundry room, as needed. Maintain a clean and organized laundry area by sweeping floors, wiping down machines, checking lint traps, and thoroughly cleaning the area. Provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and team members. Prioritize resident safety and satisfaction. Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and helpful manner. Answer phones appropriately according to community standards. Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and the general public. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Maintain confidentiality and respect the rights and privacy of residents and others. Present Bermuda Village in a positive and professional manner. Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Perform other duties as assigned. Must pass a criminal background check. Must meet all applicable health and safety requirements. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have a safe and clean driving record. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must be dependable, honest, fair, and professional. Must have compassion and a desire to work with older adults. Must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.Benefits:
