LBA Hospitality is hiring a weekend laundry attendant! Join our hospitality team and help provide guests with clean, fresh linens throughout their stay. The Laundry Attendant processes hotel linens and towels while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized laundry facility. This position also manages supplies and supports housekeeping operations as needed. Key Responsibilities Receive and sort soiled linens and towels according to established procedures. Wash, dry, fold, organize, and stock linens and towels. Treat stains when appropriate and maintain records of stained, damaged, or discarded items. Notify a supervisor when linens cannot be restored and should be removed from inventory. Operate washers, dryers, and related equipment according to manufacturer instructions. Clean lint traps and equipment surfaces and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain laundry production, inventory, and supply records as required. Keep laundry areas, shelves, equipment, and storage rooms clean and organized. Follow established procedures for sanitation, chemical handling, safety, security, and emergency response. Respond promptly and professionally to guest or departmental requests. Use required hotel systems and communication tools, such as Quore or Hotel Effectiveness. Protect guest privacy and maintain a professional appearance consistent with uniform and grooming standards. Perform other related duties within the associate's training and capabilities.
Requirements:
Qualifications Previous housekeeping or laundry experience in a hotel, hospital, residential, or care-facility environment is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Dependable, trustworthy, organized, and committed to excellent guest service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, follow established procedures, and manage multiple priorities. Ability to learn job-related technology and communicate professionally with guests and coworkers. Physical and Scheduling Requirements With or without reasonable accommodation, the associate must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel; lift or carry up to 30 pounds; and push or pull up to 60 pounds. This on-site position may require varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
