Job Description

North Davidson Veterinary Hospital located in the Lexington / Welcome area has dedicated over forty years serving our clients and their pet family members. We are adding experienced staff and looking for the right individuals to demonstrate compassion and care for all animals, while effectively communicating with our doctors and team members. The team member must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekend and holiday rotation. Candidates must possess the ability to multi-task and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate must be able to easily lift 50 pounds. Hours are 10:00am-7:00pm Monday- Friday Rotating weekends: Saturday hours 7:00am-11:00am and 2:00pm-6:00pm. Sunday hours 7:00am-10:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm If you would like to be a part of this well-established practice, please come by our office and fill out an Application and attach your Resume. Required experience:
We offer internal training program. Duties include (but not limited to): Lifting up to 50#'s without assistance. Feeding, watering, walking animals in all weather conditions. Cleaning cages, cleaning runs, sweeping/mopping, laundry, dishes, cleaning restrooms, cleaning outside grounds. Assisting technicians during down time. Scheduling boarding appointments over the phone. Scheduling boarding appointments in the computer.
