Part-Time Laundry Aide Join the Caring Team at Ridge Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation! Ridge Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Laundry Aide to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure our residents have clean, fresh clothing and linens while maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable environment. Why Join Ridge Valley? Your work helps ensure residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home. Key Responsibilities Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens Properly identify, mark, and label residents' personal clothing Ensure clean clothing and linens are returned to the appropriate residents and departments Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens throughout the facility Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and sanitary Monitor linen inventory and communicate supply needs Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures Work cooperatively with nursing and other departments to meet daily laundry needs Handle residents' personal belongings with care and respect What We're Looking For Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred Long-term care or healthcare experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable, responsible, and willing to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift as required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around laundry equipment and cleaning products Make a Difference Every Day At Ridge Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation , every team member plays an important role in creating a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for our residents.
